Clothes the Closet Door! LLC was incorporated in
2005. We are busy moms with years of experience trying to clothe growing children on a budget.

The idea of opening a consignment business came when Amy Warren met Kathleen Schwartz through the many children’s activities she taught in Carlisle. Amy had recently moved from Georgia where she was a consignor and shopper at Atlanta's famous children's consignment sales. A friendship quickly ensued and when Amy discovered that Kathleen had literally grown up in the consignment business-her mother owned a consignment shop for nearly 17 years, it seemed a perfect match and thus Clothes the Closet Door! LLC was formed.

In October 2006, Kathleen moved to Ohio. She continues to return to Carlisle for CCD's bi-annual children's sale.  

We are extremely pleased with the success of our events. We try to promote a bright, clean and fun environment where everyone wins—consignors earn money on their items while shoppers go home with great bargains. It is recycling at its best!  That's why we are known as Carlisle's finest children's consignment sale with a friendly touch.
