Why Consign?
First, you may be asking yourself “Why should I consign with Clothes the Closet Door! LLC?" The answer is easy! You make 70% of the sale price on every item that sells. That is far more than you would earn consigning with a traditional consignment shop and without the hassles of having your own yard sale. Since we don’t have the overhead costs of a retail store, we can maximize your profits.
Anyone can be a seller and turn gently used items into cash. Sellers must bring at least $50.00 worth of items to sell in order to participate and attend the Preview Sale. Sellers who bring $100 worth of items may bring a guest to attend the Preview Sale. After the sale, sellers may choose to pick up unsold items or donate them to a local charity. Checks will be sent to sellers within 10 days of the sale. Sellers pay a $9.00 consignor fee to register for the sale. Space is limited so be sure to register early.

2. You are now invited to attend the Consignor’s Only Preview
Sale and have the best opportunity to get the items you want before
the
sale opens to the general public. The line forms early!
3. Your proceeds check is sent within 10 days of the sale. Yeah!
4. Meet up with friends and neighbors at our Consignor’s Appreciation Social (held during the Preview Sale).
5. No kids at the Preview Sale means a night out for you and your friends!
6. We don’t call it “Clothes the Closet Door” for nothing. What better motivation do you need to purge your gently used items from your closets? You will now be able to close those doors!
7. It’s ok to celebrate retiring the “potty chair”. Let someone else put it to good use!
8. All your donations go directly to local charities, including Project Share. You never have to see your stuff again (if you don’t want to) and you get a tax deductible receipt which saves you more money! We love that.
9. We’re friendly, fun and maybe a little crazy too! Did we mention the 11 kids?
10. Consigning is recycling at its best! Your gently used items go to families and not to the landfill!
